David Mittelstadt is a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based photographer who specializes in fine art film photography. Having started his passion for photography at age 9 when growing up in England, David is fluent in the language of film photography, preferring the analog medium for his personal projects as well as when requested by clients.  David works using a variety of film equipment, from 35mm through medium format to 4x5. 

Many of David’s customers and clients appreciate the craftsmanship behind the images they choose for their homes and offices, learning about David’s start-to-finish photographic process.  In a day and age when the digital camera rules much of the photographic world, David’s use of such historical equipment and chemical processes stands out, contributing to the enjoyment many experience from his final images.

David also regularly photographs weddings & events, and is available for hire for commercial projects. For weddings, events, and commercial assignments, David uses both film and digital photographic equipment, depending on each client's needs.
